About Me

Greetings, my name is Saturnin Pugnet (but let's stick with Sat), hailing from France and now residing in the heart of New York City. As an insatiably curious individual, I find myself on a perpetual journey of exploration and discovery spanning the vast fields of Science, Technology, History, Philosophy, and the Arts. I have always enjoyed the thrill of unearthing and mastering new concepts and weave this into every aspect of my life.

Upon completing my time at Caltech, I became a founding member of Worldcoin, a project built alongside many brilliant people including Fabian Bodensteiner, Sam Altman, Max Novendstern, Philipp Sippl, Chris Brendel, Alex Blania and Sandro Herbig. It has been a remarkable feat and I remain dedicated to this ambitious project crafting the infrastructure essential for navigating and shaping a future powered by AGI (Artificial General Intelligence).

I also dedicate a portion of my time to angel investing and advising startups, investors and governments, a catalyst that keeps me connected to the brightest minds, the latest ideas, and frontier technologies. I am always eager to engage with anyone working on pioneering ideas, particularly in deep tech; e.g. AI, NeuroTech, Energy (Especially fusion), BioTech, SpaceTech, Robotics etc. If you are working on something innovative, feel free to reach out.

Adventures

When not immersed in my professional pursuits, you will find me engaged in a variety of sports and other adventures. Be it MMA, climbing, cliff diving, kite surfing, tennis, biking or freestyle skiing, I have enjoyed mastering all types of physical activities and exploring the limits of the human body. This has been a lifelong passion of mine, and I have embraced it in its myriad of forms since my early years. Along these lines, I also organized and partook in multiple month long expeditions through desert and other challenging environment for the fun of exploration.
